I recently joined the EntreCard community as a way to help drive traffic to my site. I assumed that I’d have ample designs to choose from for my logo during the signup process. Boy was I wrong! The best logo I could come up with through EntreCard was this:
Simply hideous. Oddly, EntreCard fully admits that their pre-designed logos are lame. So what can you do to spruce up your EntreCard logo or ad?
Well, you could try your hand at Photoshop, like I did. But you really need to know your way around Photoshop and have good design savvy to quickly and easily produce a quality card. I know my way around Photoshop, but my design savvy sucks, so the card I produced took about 20 minutes and sadly was only marginally better than the stock card from EntreCard:
Luckily there’s a nifty site called free125cards.com created by the people over at vividlamp. It only took me about 5 minutes to come up with a much better 125 x 125 card (although it still could use some work when I have time).
The point is, if you don’t want to waste a bunch of time trying to come up with a spiffy card for EntreCard, or a stunning ad logo for your 125 x 125 px adspace, give free125cards.com a try. It’s fast, it’s easy, and it’s FREE!
Oh, and in case your wondering how to go about uploading your new card to EntreCard - Go to your dashboard, and under “Your Entrecard”, click on Edit.
That should take you to another page which is titled Settings. Under Entrecard Style (second line), choose “Uploaded Image”, and then click on Browse (third line) and upload your image. It took me forever to figure it out.
